Nexus Venture Partners led the seed round to support team expansion and product development.
Zango provides regulation-aware artificial intelligence agents that automate horizon scanning, gap analysis, and controls testing for financial institutions. The platform is designed to make compliance continuous and audit ready.
London-based regulatory technology provider Zango has secured £3.5m in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from South Park Commons, Richard Davies, Alan Morgan, Mark Ransford, Notion Capital, No Label Ventures, and Start Ventures.
The capital will be deployed to expand the company teams in London and Bengaluru, and to build out additional product modules for an artificial intelligence-native governance, risk, and compliance platform. Zango also plans to scale its operations into new verticals such as insurance and asset management.
The firm currently serves established financial institutions including Novobanco, Monzo, and Juni, transforming complex regulatory requirements into structured digital workflows.
From the founder
"We don’t sell a platform; we sell a solution. Our AI agents are paired with humans-in-the-loop to ensure 100% accuracy. Peace of mind doesn’t come from a tool; it comes from a result. That’s why we win against consultants because they don’t just sell software, and neither do we."
