Yavrio secures £1.9m in seed funding led by Fuel Ventures to expand its Open Banking platform

Fuel Ventures led the seed round for the London fintech as it exits stealth mode.

Yavrio is an Open Banking fintech company based in London that connects business enterprise resource planning systems directly with banks.

Yavrio has secured £1.9m in seed funding in a round led by Fuel Ventures. The company plans to use the capital to support its global expansion and exit stealth mode as it looks to modernise financial data transfers for corporate clients.

Enterprise resource planning platforms frequently rely on manual file transfers and outdated data methods, creating operational risks for finance teams. Yavrio provides a direct connection between bank accounts and ledger systems to automate reconciliations and improve transaction security.

The firm already connects to more than 10,000 banks internationally, serving clients ranging from public bodies to commercial enterprises. With backing from prominent investors including former politician Sajid Javid, the business is scaling its software support beyond Microsoft Dynamics.

From the founder

"Over the past decade, finance teams have moved away from clunky, outdated software to embrace finance and ERP systems which improved productivity and provided automation opportunities. However, for all the incredible opportunities they offered, they have fallen short as finance professionals still had to manually download CSV files, with significant error and fraud risk, and carry out time-consuming reconciliations."
