YASA secures £18m Series E funding from Parkwalk Advisors, Universal Partners, Oxford Sciences Innovation and Inovia Capital to scale operations
The funding round was led by Parkwalk Advisors, Universal Partners, Oxford Sciences Innovation and Inovia Capital to support customer demand and company growth.
YASA manufactures axial flux electric motors and controllers for hybrid and pure electric vehicles across the automotive and aerospace sectors. The company is based in Oxford.
Electric motor manufacturer YASA has secured £18m in a Series E funding round to scale operations and meet rising customer demand. The investment was backed by existing supporters Parkwalk Advisors and Universal Partners, alongside new participants Oxford Sciences Innovation and Inovia Capital. This capital follows the recent integration of a custom YASA motor into Ferrari's SF90 Stradale production vehicle.
The company produces axial flux electric motors and controllers designed to deliver high power and torque density while reducing vehicle weight. Leadership notes that the new funds will prepare the business for increased order volumes from automotive and aerospace clients.
