A workplace wellbeing platform that uses clinical data to measure and improve mental health for individuals and corporate clients.

Workplace wellbeing platform 87% has raised £1.6m in a seed round closed in just two weeks, supported by existing shareholders and previous investors alongside backing from the Aviva Foundation. The capital will enable the company to accelerate its expansion, develop its educational capabilities and user experience, and hire senior specialists to drive sales.

Founded in 2017 and operated by a team of psychologists and technologists, 87% experienced significant demand during the pandemic. Its services have been adopted by emergency services and commercial sectors alike, leading to substantial compound annual growth.

The additional funds from the Aviva Foundation will specifically target the UK SME sector, extending mental health support to small businesses that often lack access to such resources.

From the founder

"At 87%, we see building mental fitness foundations as a critical part of everyday life. Without strong foundations, we all struggle to fulfil our potential or recover quickly when the winds of change shift against us. With data sitting at the heart of our proposition, we can make this tangible for users and businesses. Whether it’s the user benefitting from better focus and performance, and therefore greater fulfilment in life, or businesses getting more from staff through improved productivity and efficiency, our measurements drive the insights needed to take appropriate action. This funding is testament to team’s work in the last 18 months and will pave the way for us to further realise our vision of improving the mental wellbeing of society, percent by percent."
