Wizart provides computer vision software for online retailers to let customers visualise interior finishing materials.
Wizart has secured €1.1m in a seed round led by The Untitled Ventures, with participation from Fores Ventures, Advance Capital, JJ Ventures, and Smart Partnership Capital. The company provides a software platform that uses computer vision and augmented reality to help customers visualise wallpapers and other finishing materials on walls.
The Gdańsk-based business operates a B2B software model serving online do-it-yourself retailers and generates the majority of its revenue outside its domestic market. The new capital will support the ongoing development of its visual technology platform and commercial reach.
Investor perspective
"Our new venture seed fund seeks to select only deeptech projects that are globally oriented and combine original proprietary technologies with specific industry applications in emerging markets and a clear monetization model that allows a startup to earn and create opportunities for a quite measurable increase in efficiency for clients in comparison to their traditional way of doing business"
