Willo Technologies operates a recruitment technology platform that facilitates video interviews for organisations across more than 180 countries. The business provides tools to streamline hiring processes for various global enterprises and public institutions.
Willo Technologies has secured £250k in a seed funding round led by Guernsey-based 1818 Venture Capital, with participation from board members. The capital will be deployed to support international expansion, initiate a recruitment drive for 24 new staff members, and further develop the company product.
The Glasgow-based start-up has experienced rapid growth since April, expanding its platform usage across more than 60 countries. While initially focused on recruitment, the company has diversified into areas such as training and reviews as organisations adapt to remote operations.
This latest raise follows a £20k funding injection from Scottish Enterprise earlier in the year. The business is supported by a board comprising experienced executives including Dr Steve Perry, Peter Preston, and Stefan Ciecierski.
