Weaver raises £3.1m in seed funding led by btov Partners to fuel UK expansion
The London-based marketplace secured backing from btov Partners to scale its digital renovation platform across the UK.
Weaver operates a digital marketplace connecting architects and homeowners with general contractors for home renovations. The platform streamlines sourcing, pricing, contracting, and payments into a single interface.
London-based marketplace startup Weaver has secured £3.1m in seed funding to expand its operations across metropolitan areas in the UK. The investment round was led by European venture firm btov Partners, with participation from several prominent angel investors and syndicates.
The company has developed a platform designed to bring transparency and structure to the historically fragmented home renovation sector. By combining sourcing, pricing, and contracting into one interface, the startup aims to reduce risks for both households and architects engaging with general contractors.
From the founder
"We have been focused on building a platform for home renovation that not only serves an imminent need but will deliver even more value as we scale. Very few industries are as behind as the construction industry, and we are poised to become a game changer that can make home renovation much easier, less risky, and more cost-effective for contractors, architects and homeowners alike."
