Elbow Beach Capital led the initial £400k tranche, which will be followed by a further £300k.
Share allotment filed at Companies House
WASE is a British climate tech startup that develops modular systems to convert wastewater and organic waste into renewable energy.
WASE has secured £700k in backing led by Elbow Beach Capital, alongside additional support from the European Union, Climate-KIC, and Science Angel Syndicate. The financing follows an oversubscribed Seedrs campaign and builds on earlier funding exceeding £1m.
The capital will be deployed to install a commercial industriWASE system at Hepworth Brewery, expand research and development, accelerate sales activities, and recruit key personnel across commercial, engineering, and finance functions.
