Voda provides accessible mental health support tailored for the LGBTQIA+ community through evidence-based tools and queer-led resources.
Mental health platform Voda has secured £650k in seed funding to expand its queer-affirming support services. The investment was supplied by a syndicate of backers featuring Impact Shakers Ventures, Daring Capital, Social Tides, Lightbulb Trust, ULTRA VC, and Dr. Helmut Schuster.
The capital arrives amid escalating hostility towards queer communities and pressure on conventional health services, prompting demand for inclusive care. Voda plans to deploy the fresh resources alongside clinical experts to scale its reach and therapeutic resources.
Since its launch in 2023, the application has accumulated more than 35,000 users worldwide. The service integrates established psychological modalities into bite-sized tools addressing challenges ranging from identity navigation to societal discrimination.
