Vivox AI raises £1.3m from investors including Axel Weber to scale compliance agents
The funding round includes backing from Axel Weber and Startup Wise Guys to accelerate product development.
Vivox AI builds regulator-ready, atomic artificial intelligence agents for anti-money laundering, know-your-business and financial crime compliance workflows. Its platform is deployed across enterprise customers operating in more than 100 countries.
Vivox AI has secured £1.3m in its first funding round from a syndicate of prominent executives and institutional backers to scale its enterprise platform and accelerate product development. The fresh capital will support the company as it expands its engineering and product teams, building on deployment traction across global financial institutions.
The London-based business provides modular, independent AI agents designed specifically for regulated financial institutions managing complex tasks such as corporate registry analysis, sanctions screening, and due diligence reviews. The technology aims to reduce case processing times and false-positive screening alerts while maintaining rigorous governance and regulatory compliance.
Participants in the round include Axel Weber, Dan Cobley, and Startup Wise Guys, alongside strategic fintech investors and senior banking figures. The company's platform integrates multiple internal and external data sources to support real-time decision-making across compliance workflows in more than 100 countries.
From the founder
"We are excited to see Vivox AI beginning to play a meaningful role in the global financial crime compliance ecosystem. The role of the compliance analyst is rapidly evolving into that of a compliance engineer, focused on managing complex investigations and supervising AI agents rather than manual, repetitive processes. Our platform is designed to support this shift, enabling teams to operate with greater control, transparency and regulatory confidence."
