VividQ specialises in computer-generated holography technology designed to transform standard screens into immersive 3D displays. The firm works with international hardware manufacturers in the automotive and gaming sectors.

VividQ has secured $7.5m in a Series A funding round led by Foresight Group, with additional participation from GameTech Ventures, Ruttenberg Gordon Investments, and existing backers. The Cambridge-based firm will direct the capital towards accelerating its product development roadmap and expanding its presence in the United States.

The company has established partnerships with original equipment manufacturers across Japan and the US, including JVCKenwood. Its proprietary software aims to bring high-resolution holographic displays to augmented and virtual reality hardware.
