Vivacity Labs raises £5m in a Series A round led by Mobeus to fund international expansion.
The Series A round was led by Mobeus and will support international growth and product development.
Vivacity Labs develops advanced sensors and artificial intelligence to provide transport insights and improve road safety for local councils and regional authorities.
Vivacity Labs has secured £5m in a Series A funding round led by Mobeus, with participation from existing backers Downing Ventures and London Co-Investment Fund. The capital will be deployed to drive international expansion and enhance the company's traffic management technology.
The firm provides accurate real-time data on road networks to help local authorities manage congestion and prioritise sustainable transport options like cycling and public transit. Major transport bodies, including Transport for Greater Manchester and the Greater Cambridge Partnership, have already adopted the technology to support active travel initiatives.
With increasing demand from international markets, Vivacity Labs intends to double its workforce across research and development, sales, and operations while maintaining its UK manufacturing base.
