Veremark provides a global workplace trust platform that unifies background screening, whistleblowing and credential verification. The company helps organisations manage employee conduct risk through automated compliance and vetting tools.
Veremark has secured £7.1m in Series A funding to expand its international footprint and develop its compliance and digital credentials platform. Stage 2 Capital led the round, with participation from Samaipata and existing backers including Triple Point Ventures, ACF Investors, Vulpes, and SOV. The fresh capital follows strong revenue growth and builds on the company's previous seed financing.
The firm aims to address manual inefficiencies in candidate vetting by offering a streamlined digital workflow. Veremark intends to use the proceeds to support further growth as demand for its compliance tools increases among corporate clients and recruitment partners.
From the founder
"Traditional solutions in the credentials and compliance space are slow and laborious to use. This makes them ineffective. We’ve turned that logic on its head by creating a platform that’s easy to use and works for all parties."
Daniel Callaghan
CEO and Co-Founder at Veremark
Investor perspective
"Effective pre-employment screening and candidate vetting are critical considerations for business operations, compliance, and risk management. Yet, around the world, these processes are highly manual and often delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete."
