Valenture Institute secures £5.4m seed investment from GSV Ventures to expand global operations
GSV Ventures led the seed round to support international campus expansion and new educational offerings.
Valenture Institute is a global online high school that delivers student-centered education with a curriculum recognised by leading universities. The institution combines digital learning with physical, hybrid boutique campuses.
Valenture Institute has secured £5.4m in seed funding from GSV Ventures to support its international expansion and enhance its digital learning platform. The capital will also be deployed to develop new subjects, launch exclusive bootcamps, and establish hybrid boutique campuses in cities such as London, Boston, New York, and across South Africa. This funding follows accelerated growth driven by the shift towards remote learning during the pandemic, aligning with the school's ambition to scale globally.
GSV Ventures led the investment, bringing backing from an established education technology investor known for partnering with platforms like Coursera and Masterclass. Valenture was founded by Robert Paddock, who previously co-founded Getsmarter prior to its acquisition by 2U.
