Urban Jungle secures £16.5m Series A funding led by Intact Ventures to expand home insurance operations

Urban Jungle has secured £16.5m in a Series A funding round led by Intact Ventures, with participation from Ingka Group, Eka Ventures, Mundi, and Rob Devey. The company will use the capital to expand its UK home insurance operations and enter new insurance markets.
Founded by Jimmy Williams and Greg Smyth, the London enterprise has built a customer base exceeding 100,000 policyholders. The firm employs automated digital systems and machine learning models to detect fraudulent claims and keep prices accessible for consumers.
The latest investment brings total funding raised by the business to £32m. Urban Jungle also plans to recruit 100 new staff members across its domestic operations as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
