Upcycled Plant Power has secured £1.5m in a follow-on investment led by Elbow Beach. The fresh capital brings the company's total funding to £3.5m.
The funds will be directed towards accelerating the commercial launch of the company's ingredient lines and scaling its robotic harvesting technology.
The business develops robotics and processing units that convert broccoli by-products into hypoallergenic protein and fibre.
