UniTaskr secures £1.3m in seed follow-on funding from angel investors to advance its platform and operations.

The student task app raised the seven-figure sum from angel investors to expand its operations and technology.
UniTaskr operates a mobile platform connecting businesses with a network of students seeking paid work opportunities and micro-influencer campaigns. Headquartered in London, the company employs a growing team across the UK.
Student task platform UniTaskr has secured £1.3m in a seed follow-on round from angel investors. The fresh capital will be directed towards expanding operations, advancing technology and launching new services for student recruitment and market research.
The funding follows a period of rapid growth for the London-based start-up, which reports scaling its monthly recurring revenue to six figures. The company plans to grow its current team of twenty with six new hires in the coming weeks.
From the founder
"Since we officially launched UniTaskr in September 2019, both Oliver and I have worked hard to create a platform that successfully bridges the gap between students and businesses, whilst providing the opportunity for students to gain valuable, paid work experience that will increase their chances of securing a desired and relevant job role once they've graduated. By increasing our reach over the last 18 months, we have significantly scaled our membership by 5354% and have established an exciting, new revenue stream in SHOUT, which has propelled our growth and enabled us to deliver effective student marketing campaigns for leading brands worldwide."
