London based startup that produces scalable avatar concerts using CGI and portable production techniques.
Unit1 Studio has secured $20m in a funding round led by Balderton Capital to scale its affordable virtual concert production method. The equity and production capital follows previous high cost ventures in the sector, such as the ABBA Voyage production, and will allow the company to deploy portable avatar performances globally.
Established in late 2025 by industry veterans, the company recently relocated a complete digital show between London venues in just four days. The fresh funding will support further team expansion and demonstrate the commercial viability of moveable virtual shows for artists who cannot tour.
