TympaHealth provides a portable digital health platform that combines hardware and software for comprehensive hearing assessments in point of care settings. The company aims to improve early disease detection and expand access to ear care.

TympaHealth has secured £5.9m in a seed financing round to accelerate its commercial expansion across the UK, Europe, and United States markets. The funding was led by serial healthcare entrepreneurs Maurice Ferre and Arjun Desai, alongside participants including Jim Breyer, Anil Sethi, Martin Varsavsky, Carlos Gallardo, Fred Moll, Elan Katz, Manny Kadre, Imran Hakim, and KHP MedTech Innovations.

Founded by Dr. Krishan Ramdoo, the company has built a portable platform combining hardware and AI-enabled software to allow ear drum visualisation, wax removal, and audiogram screening outside traditional clinical environments. The fresh capital will support the business as it scales its reach into pharmacies, retail stores, and assisted living facilities.

The company has also appointed Arjun Desai and Karin Ajmani to its board of directors to guide its ongoing international growth and strategic development.
