London-based Treefera operates a data platform that uses artificial intelligence to map and analyse forests and nature-based assets.
Treefera has secured £1.8m in pre-seed funding to enhance its artificial intelligence platform and expand its global market presence. Concept Ventures led the round, with additional backing from Twin Path Ventures, January Ventures, and angel investor Greg Lavender.
The London-based company uses deep learning models to expedite the measurement, reporting, and verification of carbon credits. Its technology integrates with client analytics environments through an application programming interface to deliver immediate insights on forest health and carbon sequestration.
The fresh capital will be directed towards product development, team expansion, and scaling operations internationally.
