The London-based financial technology firm has closed a Series A round co-led by Anthemis Group and MMC Ventures to support team growth and product expansion.

TreasurySpring operates a cash investment platform that helps organisations manage and protect their cash assets. The firm gives clients access to institutional grade products to diversify holdings and minimise banking risk.

TreasurySpring has secured seven million pounds in a Series A funding round co-led by Anthemis Group and MMC Ventures. The capital injection also drew participation from existing backer ETFS Capital, lifting the company total to over ten million dollars raised since 2017.

The London-based fintech will direct the fresh capital towards expanding its headcount, with a particular emphasis on sales and marketing functions. Additional funds are earmarked for core technology upgrades, operational scale, and new product initiatives across multiple sectors and geographies.

The raise follows a growth period for the fixed-term fund platform, which has issued over nine billion dollars in instruments to institutional clients ranging from FTSE 100 corporations to family offices and fund managers.

From the founder

"Following a break-out 12 months in which we increased AUM by 10x, we wanted to bring in the best possible investment partners to support our ambitious growth plans. We have long admired both Anthemis Group and MMC, so I am delighted that they co-led the round and we are excited to work with Sean, Ollie and their respective teams, as we move into the next phase of our journey to redefine cash investment and front-office treasury."
