The safety technology company will use the capital to advance product development and field testing for its wearable rescue indicators.
Share allotment filed at Companies House
TrapDtek develops wearable safety technology that allows emergency responders to locate individuals in hazardous locations where conventional positioning systems fail.
TrapDtek has secured funding from the RCA Design & Innovation S/EIS Fund, managed by Infinity Asset Management alongside the Royal College of Art. The company develops wearable technology designed to help emergency responders locate individuals in environments where standard communication and GPS signals are unavailable.
The newly secured capital will be deployed to accelerate product development, refine the underlying hardware and radio-frequency capabilities, and prepare the platform for rigorous field testing across rescue operations. The investment marks a step forward in bringing the passive location system to front-line emergency services.
