TORTUS raises £3.3m in seed funding led by Khosla Ventures to expand clinical AI assistant capabilities.

The seed round was led by Khosla Ventures with participation from Entrepreneur First and angel investors.

TORTUS is a London based generative artificial intelligence startup that builds digital assistants to automate clinical documentation for doctors.

TORTUS has secured £3.3m in seed funding in a round led by Khosla Ventures. The capital will be directed towards accelerating the development and regulatory compliance of the company lead product, O.S.L.E.R., alongside expanding operations into additional hospitals and primary care organisations.

The London based startup has developed an AI assistant designed to ease administrative burdens on medical staff by automating clinical documentation and interacting with electronic health records. Alongside the funding announcement, the company has launched a research partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital and achieved NHS DTAC compliance.
