Toothfairy raises £3m in seed funding led by ADA Ventures and Slingshot Ventures to expand its digital dental platform
The oversubscribed round was co-led by ADA Ventures and Slingshot Ventures to support the development of remote dental care technology.
Toothfairy operates a digital dentistry platform connecting patients with licensed professionals through a health-regulated app for emergencies, prescriptions, and cosmetic treatments. The company provides proactive oral healthcare solutions to insurers, employers, and individuals across the UK.
Toothfairy has secured £3m in an oversubscribed seed funding round to scale its digital dental platform. The financing was led by ADA Ventures and Slingshot Ventures, with contributions from a broad group of institutional investors and angel backers.
Established to address the acute backlog in oral healthcare exacerbated by the pandemic, the company offers remote triage, prescriptions, and dental monitoring. The fresh capital will support further deployment of its patent pending technology as the business looks to expand access to dental services.
The raise follows a period of rapid growth for the platform, which has achieved medical device certification and undergone evaluation within the NHS. The founders intend to build upon this momentum by enhancing their proprietary diagnostic tools.
