Tillit raises £3.6m in seed funding from Patrick Edwardson and other backers to develop its investment platform.
The seed round was led by Patrick Edwardson with participation from Techstart Ventures and other investors.
Tillit operates a curated investment platform offering access to a select range of funds, investment trusts and ETFs for retail investors. The business provides tools to help individuals navigate financial markets and manage their long-term savings.
Investment platform Tillit has secured £3.6m in seed funding in a round led by industry veteran Patrick Edwardson. The investment also drew participation from Techstart Ventures, Nicholas Kirrage and Richard McGrail, with the transaction closing in December 2021.
The capital will be directed toward further platform development as the company expands its retail investment offerings. Following the raise, Patrick Edwardson is slated to join the board pending regulatory approval from the Financial Conduct Authority.
