tickr raises £1m in Seed investment on Seedrs
The impact investment platform secured backing from over 1,000 investors to expand its user base and build new features.
tickr is an application that allows users to invest in companies generating social and environmental solutions, alongside providing carbon offset services. The certified B Corp company aims to make ethical finance accessible to a new generation.
tickr has secured £1m in a Seed funding campaign hosted on Seedrs, more than doubling its initial target with support from 1,040 investors.
The capital follows a public crowdfunding initiative launched by the impact investment platform last month, which initially sought £500k to expand its user base and develop new features.
Founded to make thematic investing accessible to millennials, tickr offers exposure to exchange traded funds addressing issues such as climate change and equality.
