The oversubscribed round was backed by investors including Sumerian Foundation and Wealth Club.
Thrive produces an NHS-approved mental health and wellbeing application designed for workplace use. The platform offers clinical-grade techniques and direct access to trained therapists to help individuals manage stress and mental health.
Thrive Therapeutic Software has secured £2.5m in Series A funding in a rapid ten-day raise. The oversubscribed round drew backing from the Sumerian Foundation, Treebeard Trust, Syndicate Room, and Wealth Club.
The capital will be directed towards expanding the firm's research capabilities and further developing its digital platform. This will enable deeper integration with medical data and broader access to mental health services.
The company has experienced rapid growth, doubling its headcount to 50 employees and increasing app downloads significantly over the past year. Leadership intends to use the fresh capital to support continued expansion.
From the founder
"We’ve been blown away by the level of interest in the funding round. We quickly raised £1m from existing investors – both domestically and abroad – which was a real vote of confidence in our model – and we made up the additional £1.5m in just ten days."

Andres Fonseca
Chief Executive Officer at Thrive Therapeutic Software
Investor perspective
"Thrive is addressing one of the most pervasive problems globally – poor mental health – escalated because of the impact of the pandemic on people’s lives. It’s also a problem that’s finally made it to the top of the agenda – of governments and employers alike. So, it’s easy to see why this investment opportunity really resonated with our investors."
