Therapify raises £490k in seed funding led by Kogito VC to expand its remote psychotherapy platform.
Kogito VC led the seed round to support service expansion in Poland and subsequent international growth.
Therapify operates an online psychotherapy service that connects users with mental health professionals for remote support. The platform assists patients with finding a suitable therapist, booking visits, and managing sessions from home.
Online psychotherapy platform Therapify has secured £490k in a seed funding round led by Kogito VC. The round also drew participation from RKK VC, Corvus Ventures, Robert Ditrych, Maciej Noga, and Wiktor Schmidt, alongside mentoring support from billionaire Sebastian Kulczyk. The fresh capital will be deployed to expand the company services within Poland ahead of planned international growth.
Founded in 2019, Therapify addresses growing demand for mental health support by offering subscription and commission based tools for both patients and verified professionals. The platform currently hosts more than 300 practitioners and 2,500 patients, with upcoming expansion targets including the UK and several European markets.
From the founder
"I lost my very close friend and Damian lost his dad 8 months between each other. Even if we didn’t know each other at the time, those events took us together working on this project. Now, our team wants to help as many people as possible to overcome these kinds of situations, improve their quality of life, and often save their lives."
