Theia Insights raises £5m in a seed round led by Unusual Ventures to scale technology and operations.

The funding round was led by Unusual Ventures with backing from Fidelity International Strategic Ventures and Clocktower Ventures.

Theia Insights builds a dynamic AI-driven economic mapping platform for global financial institutions. Its technology replaces static industry classifications with multidimensional exposure metrics.

Theia Insights has secured £5m in a seed funding round led by Unusual Ventures, with participation from Fidelity International Strategic Ventures, Clocktower Ventures, and various strategic angels. The fresh capital will support continued technology development and commercial expansion across the US and European markets.

Founded by former Amazon Alexa scientist Dr. Ye Tian, the deep tech enterprise builds artificial intelligence and financial mathematics solutions designed to help investors parse complex market data. The firm plans to channel the proceeds into recruiting industry expertise and advancing its commercial and research initiatives.
