The Smart Container Company has secured £1.1m in a seed funding round to support the mass production of its keg tracking technology. The capital was raised through CrowdCube alongside backing from angel investors.
Proceeds from the financing will be directed towards establishing a supply chain for the company's patent-pending internet of things device, alongside expanding sales and marketing operations in domestic and international markets.
The business has spent three years developing its sensor technology, which combines artificial intelligence and mobile data science to optimise supply chain logistics for brewery assets.
