The London based ecommerce rollup secured backing from high profile entrepreneurs including Glenn Elliott and Jonathan Quin.
The Mothership operates as a multichannel ecommerce platform that acquires and scales sustainable consumer product brands. Founded in London, the company helps independent online sellers expand their market reach.
The Mothership has secured £16.7m in seed funding to accelerate its ecommerce rollup strategy. The capital was provided by a group of prominent entrepreneurial private investors including Glenn Elliott, Jonathan Quin, Adrian Thompson, Simon Morrish, and Giles Palmer. The proceeds will be directed toward expanding the firm portfolio of sustainable consumer brands and supporting new acquisitions.
Operating from London, the platform focuses on identifying high quality independent online sellers and providing them with multichannel marketing and operational expertise. The latest injection of capital follows a series of previous company acquisitions, including TCU Trading, as the business looks to capitalise on growing demand within the sector.
