Angel investors backed the employee engagement platform in its debut funding round.
The Happiness Index operates an employee engagement and happiness platform that measures workplace sentiment. The firm combines cultural feedback and data analytics to help organisations improve workforce wellbeing.
The Happiness Index has secured £1.1m in a seed round from angel investors to support the expansion of its employee engagement platform. The funding will enable the firm to scale its operations and develop its technology further following increased demand during the pandemic.
The raise highlights growing appetite for workplace culture tools as businesses rethink employee relations. Co-founder Matt Phelan noted that the company navigated the raise through direct engagement with backers who supported the firm's core mission.
