TapSimple raises £900k in a seed follow on round led by Ecclesiastical to develop charity fundraising technology.
The London startup secured £900k from backers including Ecclesiastical and Lord Michael Spencer to expand its cashless donation platform.
TapSimple provides cashless fundraising technology and digital tools for charities and the voluntary sector. Its platform includes contactless donation devices and virtual event services.
TapSimple has secured £900k in a seed follow on funding round led by Ecclesiastical. The raise brings the company's total funding to £2m and will support its ongoing efforts to bring digital innovation to charitable giving.
Additional backing in the round came from Lord Michael Spencer, Lord Mervyn Davies, Dominic Burke, and Anthony Bolton. Previous investors, including former NCVO chairman Sir Martyn Lewis, also participated in the financing.
The investment follows a period of rapid growth for the London startup, which has recently signed major charity clients such as Cancer Research UK and partnered with Lidl to support NSPCC fundraising.
