T-Therapeutics develops next-generation T cell receptor therapeutics to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases. The biotechnology company spun out of the University of Cambridge to advance its proprietary drug development programmes.

Biotechnology enterprise T-Therapeutics has secured £24.3m in a Series A extension financing round, adding new backers BGF and Tencent to its existing syndicate. The capital will support the company as it advances its therapeutic programmes targeting solid tumours and immune system disorders through its proprietary discovery platform.

The latest injection brings the total raised in the Series A round to £69m. The enterprise continues to draw backing from prominent life sciences investors including Sofinnova Partners, F-Prime Capital, Digitalis Ventures, Cambridge Innovation Capital, Sanofi Ventures and the University of Cambridge Venture Fund.
