£71.5MSeries C

Synthesia is a British artificial intelligence video platform that helps organisations create and share knowledge. The company develops tools for enterprise learning, product marketing, and sales enablement.

Synthesia has secured £71.5m in a Series C funding round led by Accel, valuing the business at $1bn. The capital injection includes participation from corporate investor NVentures alongside existing backers Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Firstmark Capital.

The enterprise video creation platform plans to direct the proceeds towards accelerating its internal artificial intelligence research and development efforts. This follows a period of rapid expansion characterised by significant user growth and the addition of major global organisations to its customer roster.

The company continues to advance its proprietary technology, collaborating with academic institutions such as University College London and the Technical University of Munich to push boundaries in synthetic media production.
