Sync provides an all-in-one financial service application that integrates open banking features and currency management into a single platform. The company is headquartered in London and operates across Europe.

London-based financial technology company Sync has closed a £5.5m funding round comprising pre-seed and seed investment. The fresh capital arrives as the company opens its mobile application to waiting users across Europe following an initial testing phase.

Founded in 2019, Sync offers a platform that consolidates multiple bank accounts, cards, and currencies into a single dashboard. The business postponed its initial public rollout due to the pandemic, choosing instead to refine the software with early testers before proceeding with a broader launch.

The company intends to use the capital to support its ongoing development and scale up its user base. Alongside the funding news, Sync has made its application available to tens of thousands of registered individuals on its waiting list without requiring an access code.
