Sweep builds an expense and travel management platform for small and medium sized businesses. The system automates financial reporting and transaction tracking using open banking technology.
Sweep has raised £250k in a Seedrs campaign and through the British Business Bank Future Fund, bringing its total 2020 funding and grants to £900k. The capital follows an earlier £456k grant from Innovate UK.
The fresh funds will be directed towards product development, including new features for the company expense management product and the upcoming launch of a travel management platform.
Chief executive Billel Ridelle noted that despite the challenges of 2020, customer demand for financial visibility and control remains strong as businesses prepare for the post covid economy.
