Sugar Cap raises £1.5m in pre-seed funding led by Passion Capital to expand its gaming finance platform.
Passion Capital led the pre-seed round, which will fund team expansion and platform scaling.
Sugar Cap offers automated, data-driven financial products designed to help game and app studios scale without raising equity. Its core offerings include marketing loans, revenue advances, and tax relief financing.
Sugar Cap has secured £1.5m in a pre-seed financing round led by Passion Capital. The raise included participation from Velo Partners and strategic angel investors such as Victoria van Lennep. The capital will be deployed to expand the team and scale the platform into new markets.
Founded in 2019, the London-based business provides non-dilutive finance products including marketing loans and early revenue access for digital creators. The fresh injection of capital is set to support the firm as it targets expansion across the UK, Scandinavia, and the US.
