Stream Sensing secures six-figure Seed investment from Maven to advance flow sensing technology

The Manchester start-up has raised six-figure funding from NPIF - Maven Equity Finance to develop new rheometer instruments.

£100KSeed

Stream Sensing provides advanced industrial rheology sensors for quality control in manufacturing and consumer goods. The Manchester business develops inline flow measurement technology to streamline production processes.

Manchester-based Stream Sensing has secured a six-figure investment from NPIF - Maven Equity Finance to accelerate the development of its next-generation rheometers. The funding will support research and development efforts to improve the firm's flow sensing technology and broaden its commercial reach across sectors such as pharmaceuticals and speciality chemicals. Maven Equity Finance, managed by Maven Capital Partners under the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, backed the round to support the company's growth strategy.

The business provides real-time, in-situ measurements designed to replace traditional sampling methods that often cause supply chain bottlenecks. By deploying heat pulse technology to evaluate liquid flow profiles in pipes, Stream Sensing aims to help manufacturers optimise operations and reduce lead times.
