Stormcloud Games has secured a seven-figure investment from Chroma Ventures to support the creation of new game titles conceived during lockdown. Founded in Dundee, the studio plans to expand its headcount over the coming year as development accelerates.
Chroma Ventures, established by 4J Studios co-founders Paddy Burns and Chris van der Kuyl, added the studio to its growing portfolio of technology and data enterprises. The funding will allow the team to bring fresh concepts to market, building on previous successes such as Island Saver and various BAFTA-nominated titles.
