Stormburst Studios raises £600k from Mercia to expand its sales management platform
The funding follows a previous backing in 2017 and aims to support team expansion.
Stormburst Studios builds software that applies video game mechanics to help businesses organise and motivate remote sales teams. Based in Tamworth, the company operates the OneUp Sales platform.
Stormburst Studios has secured £600k in funding from the MEIF Proof of Concept and Early Stage Fund alongside Mercia's EIS funds to support its expansion. The fresh capital will be directed towards team growth and increasing revenue ahead of an anticipated Series A round in 2022.
The company previously raised £150k from Mercia in 2017. Its platform, OneUp Sales, is designed to keep remote workforces aligned and engaged through online competition and performance analytics.
