Sticky operates a no code platform for physical spaces that deploys NFC stickers to streamline customer interactions and payments. The technology bridges the gap between digital convenience and real world commerce.

Sticky has secured £1.5m in seed financing to drive its international expansion across the leisure and retail sectors. The round was led by Praetura Ventures, with participation from Cornerstone VC, SFC Capital, and various angel investors.

The fresh capital will be deployed to scale customer acquisition and build out the company partner ecosystem. Sticky provides NFC powered stickers that enable businesses to deploy touch based payment and interaction flows in minutes.

From the founder

"Sticky offers a no-code low-code solution that helps businesses innovate at speed. We help our customers see their physical space as an asset and as a way to make more money. The future of physical spaces is well debated but at Sticky there is no debate about their future or value – they are where we all live and work."

Investor perspective

"Sticky has taken a visionary approach to the problem of unused retail space and online engagement in offline environments, and that is what attracted us to invest in the business. Given the growing tech expertise we have at Praetura, including our operational partners and Praetura Ventures partner Andy Barrow, who was the former CTO at cloud giant ANS, we are looking forward to joining Sticky’s growth journey and playing our part in helping the company scale and break into new industries and verticals."
