Stampede secures £1m seed investment from Techstart Ventures, Galvanise Capital, Judy Wilson and the Scottish Government

The seed round will be used to grow the team, expand sales, and continue service development.

Stampede is a digital growth service provider that equips offline businesses with online tools to connect with customers and scale. Previously known as BLACKBX, it is based in Leith and operates in the hospitality sector.

Stampede has secured £1m in seed funding to expand its team and develop its service offering. The investment was backed by Techstart Ventures, Galvanise Capital, Judy Wilson and the Scottish Government.

The company plans to scale its headcount from 32 to 60 employees as it targets venues across the UK. Its flagship product is a Wi-Fi marketing and customer engagement tool currently utilised across more than 800 locations.
