Stability AI secures £89m seed funding from Coatue, Lightspeed and O'Shaughnessy Ventures to scale open AI models

Stability AI has secured £89m in a seed funding round led by Coatue, Lightspeed Venture Partners and O'Shaughnessy Ventures. The capital will be directed towards accelerating the development of open artificial intelligence models covering image, language, audio, video and 3D modalities for global consumer and enterprise applications. The company is behind the Stable Diffusion text-to-image generator and the DreamStudio consumer platform.
