£245KSeed

Springpod provides virtual work based learning programmes that connect students with employers and universities. The platform enables young people to explore career paths and build professional skills through online experiences.

Springpod has secured £245k in the first tranche of a funding raise capped at £600k, with backing from Henley Business Angels. The capital will support direct sales expansion, research and development, and marketing execution.

The platform connects students aged 13 to 18 with employers to address STEM skills shortages and facilitate career exploration, work experience, and apprenticeships. Major corporate participants on the platform include Jaguar Land Rover, BT, and Google.

From the founder

"Lord Baker and the team are thrilled to have received this strong vote of confidence at the beginning of the fundraise. It will enable us to build out the platform and help thousands more students connect with top employers from an early age, helping transform futures and solve the STEM skills shortage."
