Forward Partners led the seed round to help Sourcery expand its engineering capacity and improve code tools.
Sourcery provides a real-time refactoring tool that automatically reviews and improves code for software developers. The company offers integrations for various code editors, hosting platforms, and pipelines.
Sourcery has secured £1.3m in seed funding to expand its engineering team and enhance enterprise offerings. The round was led by Forward Partners, with participation from Runa Capital, Techstars, Angel Invest, CapitalX, Acequia Capital, and private angel investors.
Founded in 2018, the company builds automated tools designed to eliminate time wasted on poor quality code by providing real-time suggestions and improvements. The fresh capital will be directed towards product development and team expansion as the business scales its platform.
