Solidatus provides data lineage software that helps regulated enterprises map data flows, ensure compliance, and manage information governance.

Metadata management software provider Solidatus has secured seed funding from global bank Citi. The capital will be deployed to accelerate product development and support the company's international expansion into the United States and the Asia-Pacific region.

Citi is the first major institutional investor to back Solidatus, while also deploying the platform across its global enterprise infrastructure. The financing supports the firm as it scales its presence beyond financial services into new sectors.

From the founder

"Securing investment from an organisation with the stature of Citi is a tremendous statement of intent for the business, especially at such a key point in our evolution. They are the first of our Tier 1 banking clients to see the potential for a closer strategic partnership. We are pleased to have them play a key role during this pivotal growth stage and look forward to continuing to be a vital component of their digital transformation journey and beyond."
