Social Value Portal has secured £3m in seed funding from Beringea to support its ongoing growth. The capital will be directed towards enhancing its technology platform and scaling commercial operations across business and government markets.
The investment arrives as regulatory and shareholder demands for comprehensive environmental, social and governance reporting intensify. Social Value Portal operates a system designed to translate social impact metrics into consistent, quantifiable data for both public authorities and corporate clients.
Beringea led the financing round as the venture capital firm targets businesses addressing governance and social metrics. The funding aims to expand the reach of the measurement tools following adoption by clients including major financial institutions and municipal authorities.
