Deepbridge Capital backed the seed round to support the commercialisation of advanced space propulsion systems.
SmallSpark Space Systems develops advanced propulsion technologies and design tools to facilitate cost-effective and environmentally friendly access to space. Based in Cardiff, the firm builds systems for small satellites and offers cloud-based design optimisation.
SmallSpark Space Systems has secured £500k in seed funding from Deepbridge Capital to support its ongoing commercialisation efforts. The capital will be deployed to drive product development and expand key industry relationships.
Advisory services for the transaction were provided by the GS Verde Group. The investment arrives as the company experiences team growth and prepares for further recruitment across engineering roles throughout the coming year.
