Small Robot Company is a British agritech start-up developing autonomous agricultural robots and artificial intelligence for sustainable farming. Its systems aim to maximise food production while reducing environmental impact.
Small Robot Company has secured £4m through an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube, bringing its total funding to £11m. The latest raise, which drew backing from more than 2,500 retail investors, achieved its initial target on the day of launch before doubling to reach its stretch ceiling. The fresh capital will be directed towards accelerating artificial intelligence modelling and commercialising the firm's per plant action capabilities. The Salisbury-based agritech enterprise previously completed multiple crowdfunding raises, including a private campaign and a match-funded government scheme.
